I am remodeling our kitchen. We had this bottle opener installed on the cabinets already, but I added the secret magnetic cap catcher just a few days ago. It's installed from the backside of the cabinet and invisible from the front, but I added the thin wooden plaque to keep the new paint/glaze treamtent on the cabinets from getting scratched up.

There's a short video of it working as well as some more details about how I did it and materials on my blog.

That is just the coolest! I would only like it better if you painted some snarky phrase on the plaque. I'm sure you could think of something. Cheesy

Thanks!

Hehe. There has got to be some clever beer/bear play on words, right? Of course we plan to let the cap accumulate on there, so maybe the snark would be buried anyway.

But you would know it's there. I tried to think of something to suggest when I wrote that first response, but alas, I could not.

Sometimes you just have to relax, move on, and inspiration will come on! Of course, the opening belongs to The ManFlesh (a gift) so it's not entirely up to me what happens with it.
