Hi guys this is my latest project Smiley I found an old chair which was missing it's seat. Rather than making a new seat I used old belts I bought from the charity shop to weave a new one. Belts are great to work with as they just buckle up underneath and are really easy to pull tight!

I decided to showcase the belt buckles on the back of the chair, where they won't catch on your legs when you sit down. It's super comfy!

That's a really neat and creative idea, I have definitely never seen a chair's seat made out of woven belts before!  From a distance, you can't even tell that they're belts at all.  Well done!

Thanks  Grin I didn't even have to cut a single belt so there was zero waste in this project Smiley

Very cool re-use of old belts!  Love a good charity shop rummage, you never know what you might find.  Smiley

Wow, I love the style and the weaving looks so neat! Great accent to have the buckles come up the back, and the one long end.

Love this, it looks great. I especially love how the one in the middle extends up the back, very cool.
