When I started working at a company with a laser cutter/engraver my mind went wild with upcycling possibilities!

Here are 3 clocks I have made out of repurposed vinyl records. It's amazing how intricate and precise the laser will cut. I had to dremel the hole in the centre of the record a little wider so that the clock mechanisms fit, but only slightly.

Wow! These are great! How do you input the design into the laser cutter? Do you have to make a digital file for it, or do you guide the laser by hand? (I'm guessing the former; these designs are so precise and perfect.)

I love these!

Looking for poly-clay earrings: one bacon, one fried egg. Also, a mishmash of red/orange/gold bracelets--beaded, braided, bangles, whatever! If you have the supplies, let's talk! (Please?) I'll swap all kinds of things in return!

Thanks. Grin You make a vector design in Corel Draw and send it to the laser via a print driver. It's amazing the things you can do!  Shocked

Beautiful work!  I'm really partial to the first one, with all the cut-out numbers surrounding the clock face, and the devil-themed one is my runner-up pick.

Thank you. I love the Green Devil one too as that's my logo. I made it for myself and sold a few of them too. Great advertising for me!  Grin

These are awesome! I think the first one is also my favorite. That's an awesome way to upcycle!
