I have been wanting to try out spray paint shirts recently.  I even bought the new chrome Krylon spray can when in the states recently.  I had bought a shirt to make a Find Murphy!!! shirt for Zombie Nation, but they only played the line a few times in the first epi..then they found him  *add in balloon emptying pppphhhttttt like sound*.  But today, April First Day, I received divine inspiration from the craftster deities.  Everything was SPAM-a-licouse today!  I love everything kitchy and SPAM is like the food of the kitch.  So, when craftylittlemonkey was being vexed by the word manipulations occurring today, I thought she was talking about the disturbing nutritional issues of SPAM.  And I just couldn't get this idea out of my mind...so here ya go Grin

Super happy with how it came out.  I will wait a week or so before I wash it and post how it goes.  The spray is not as mirror like on the fabric as I have seen on glass and other mediums.  But it is bold and stands out very nicely.  I love the splaters and I got a bit of a nail polish as well Grin

Thanks for looking Grin

What a brilliant idea to celebrate this very wonderful american-mystery-meat day! And your awesome shirt might actually be straight out of Z-Nation, by the way, because I imagine this very odd canned meat-ish product will be the perfect companion for the apocalypse- it must last for ages!

(longer than I would looking for the Murphy, by the way)

Keep us updated on how the paint does in the washing process, because it sure seems like a great thing to use on fabrics... and does the can make the wonderfully suspicious sounds actual spray paint does? After all these years I still flip about the sound of a can of this kind of paint in some stranger's backpack... makes me feel giddy and teenage-like again, which is a great thing sometimes Grin

Grin Happy meat day to you!

Not my PANTS!!  I swear I live in them.  They are Nick and Nora brand and I got them for a buck twentyfive on my way to Macklemore and Ryan Lewis's show a few years ago.  The first time I wore them I finally noticed the little black poodle standing by the Eiffel tower.  So I call them My Magic Poodle Pants Grin

Your shirt turned out awesome!  I cannot wait to check back on this post and see how the shirt held up.  Kudos; this was an exceptional choice!

Thank you so much for being part of what I always thought was such a fun day...a day to be silly and to poke fun at our odd icons and idiocnycrasies..SPAM is one of those things...it is a mystery...

I love how your shirt turned out...the paint is fabulous...I like the shiny...you are so cute with your story and your outfit!
