Yep--I found this cool mirror hanging hardware and some rivets.  I lined the can with a simply fabric...but I am going to add a drawstring top, because it really is not that useful since stuff might fall out...but, I like it and will probably carry non-money things like lip balm and gun in it when I walk the flea markets this year...

I actually used a regular hole punch to get the hardware on and glue to hold in the fabric.  The strap came from an old purse.

Here is the side view showing the hardware:

All ready to go!

Oh my goodness, could this be cuter?  I'm torn on the drawstring idea... It's so convenient to access your lip balm as-is.  Genius!

Ooh, another great practical idea! I also like Spam Lite, you can't even tell it's lighter than the original!

I'm sure you're going to need your gun, because people are definitely going to want to steal this one of a kind pocket book. (Or was that a typo?) Either way, great purse!

Like the idea of adding a drawstring, too.

You have not been to the flea markets I go to...I might need to use a big ham tin to carry a gun...thanks for the idea!

I meant "gum"--ha ha!
