Ever been to a party and not recognize some of the food being served?  Well, I did not want that happening to my guests!  Since I like serving unusual food, I thought I would make some food markers.  I have a lot more to make, but these in particular were the ones that my friends wanted me to make the most.  I guess they really don't want to miss out on one of the best things I serve....SPAM right out of the can!  Yummy!

They were really easy to make, too.  I just found an image on the internet of a SPAM can, loaded it into my picture loader and printed it out.  I used two pieces back to back around a fancy toothpick.  I can do a tutorial if anyone wants to make these.  You can use a regular toothpick as well, but I like to spoil my guests with fancy eats and fancy picks! Grin

Here is a close-up of the picks:

And, another picture of the kind of food I like to serve...cheese and SPAM!  Happy crafting and happy eating!

So fancy!  Mind if I borrow your idea for my next gathering?  I think my guests will be pleasantly surprised  Smiley

I think since there are so many varieties of SPAM, that it would be best to make these for each kind so that your guests can taste all of the different flavors...I can't wait to try at least six different ones on them for my next party!!!!

Oh sure...let me know if you need any help on how to make these.  I used rubber cement as the glue...boy, did it make me dizzy!

Ooh, these are so lovely! I hope I get invited to one of your ritzy parties one of these days. Black tie dress code, I assume? Could I please get your Spam right out of the can recipe? I don't seem to make it as good as you do.

The key to SPAM is cutting the pieces into nice bite size chunks or slices.  You want to be sure to take advantage of the rich pink color...

Can't say I'm a huge fan of Spam, but your food picks are genius!

I like that you paired them with colorful picks, too.
