A couple years ago I made myself a housewarming present.  It was a great big bear painting done on wood planks, here: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=431188.0  When I was trying to figure out what to do to brighten up my kind of blah bathroom, I decided to do a smaller painting in a similar style.  This one is a portrait of a couple of my silly chickens and its about 30x30

Another winner! And I love the way you "framed" the images in the space.

I loved your bear painting and now, this one as well!  I see you captured your chickens very well...painting on the wood gives it such country charm!

Thanks all - painting is a little bit out of my comfort zone so I'm always happy if I can make something that I don't want to immediately put in a closet.  Wink

lol My dad hung the first painting I ever did in the hall closet...it wasn't until years later that I realized how bad it truly was...he made it seem special, though...Grin

I had one of the white crested black Polish from show lines. She was a wonderful bird. Lovely painting.
