That is really cute - it didn't do much for me in the magazine but yours looks awesome - and now I have another project added tomy to do list!

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box.

I know it's like, 3 months after the fact, but I have a question about your hat.  I just finished making mine, on size 6 needles as well, since I also used Lion Brand cotton.  Mine came out huge and floppy.  I'm so disappointed, and just want to scream!  How many sts did you cast on?

bongirl5- I can't remember exactly what I did on this- I will check in my knitting notebook when I get home. I can tell you this, though- I still use this sucker every time I go to the beach and I love it more than ever!

Yours turned out so darn cute! I don't know how mine turned out so wrong.  The brim is all wavy and floppy, and the crown part is too big too.  *sigh*  All that work, and it's useless..... Grr!!
