I wanted to make these for MissingWillow in the IYP Swap.

I have never done colorwork to this extent, so it was very challenging.  I was paying so much attention to the graph, that I did not pay attention to the yarn or the gauge...I realized that I was knitting a sock that would fit Big Foot!!  The notion of starting over and then making ANOTHER was too daunting...so I turned the sock into a little pouch instead! Grin

Nice save, huh? ha ha ha

Here is the link to the socks if anyone wants to make them for free! http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/far-me

Ha!  Bigfoot socks!  I'm soooo glad this happy accident happened.  I will use this a lot more than I would have worn those socks, which honestly probably would have been framed and hung on my wall somewhere.  I bow to your knitting skills.  You are such a talented Craftster, alwaysinmyroom!  Thank you so much!   Kiss

If you hadn't tell us that they were meant to become socks, I would not have guessed!
I do think it is very funny, mostly because I can relate to paying so much attenttion to one part that you forget about the rest  Grin

Very cute pouch! I love the little sheep watching over MW's money!  Smiley
