I recently went to Salvation Army and bought this pretty cool tank top. It's from the House of Blues and it's white with black graffiti print that says music lyrics and music styles etc.. It's a large and it's kind of unflattering on me. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas what I should do with it. I'd definately want to sew it to be a bit smaller. Maybe I could make a tank top or something? I think it would look good with lace or something girly, since it's already pretty rocker-ish. I'd love to hear what you guys have to say!

a couple ideas....

depending on the fabric and such.... it might look cool as one of those tanks with the droopy neck?? i dont remember what it's called... but i'm sure i've seen a tutorial around here.... there's a bunch of extra fabric along the neckline? with a v-neck line maybe??

you could make it into a tube top, then do lace straps (if you wanted to be able to wear a bra under it, you could even put strips of fabric the same width as the lace behind the lace to make it not see-through)

or just make it into a regular tank, trim the neckline and the bottom hem with lace.... i'm thinking black would look really sharp... though red or pink would give it some pop

i could be serious.....

but what's the fun in that?
