so right now my hair is just below my shoulders, it's a little wavey, and it's a dull boring brown with little orangey streaks in it from the last time i dyed over a bleach job. anyway, i want to dye it again now, and maybe cut it. i want something interesting but not TOO interesting (haha) because i have a nice, normal office job. like, i'm sure i could do something a little unusual, but i'd rather not go too crazy. my hair has been just about every color and length, so i'm not really afraid to try anything. i just need some ideas!!!

does anyone have a good punky hairstyle website suggestions?? i'm searching all over the internet for some inspiration, but i can't find anything!!

- dying the underneath a different color from the top
- layering it, and dying all the tips
- dying just the front

you know. stuff like that.

i'd appreciate any thoughts! thanks!!

You're gonna want to be careful with coloring over color and bleach.  First thing you need to know is you can't go lighter than the color you've already got with just using color.  So that leaves you with the option of going darker, or going to see a stylist.

Right now, especially with Matrix's trends, zonal color is big.  That's essentially what you were talking about with coloring just the front or just the underneath.  Right now, the bottom triangle of the underneath of my hair, and a big, big triangular bang section of mine is a dark reddish brown, while the rest of my hair is a light golden brown.  It gives a pretty cool effect.

Just be cautious with color.  It can be a pretty big mess if you do something wrong by mistake! Good luck!

I dotn think anyone else would want to do this but i died my hair back to its natural colour- at last, and then i got spray in color and sprayed my roots then you wash it a bit but it stays in your roots and it makes it look like you died it to a natural looking colour because you had green ( or something) hair...

Sorry if that made no sense, but my hair did look very cool for a while  Grin
