Just put the finishing stitches on this:



Another Urban Threads pattern - Daydream Love. The heart is about 6.5".

I tinted it using water soluble pencils with textile medium. The outline is all single ply black backstitch. Lots and lots of it.

Love the finished product and highly recommend the pencil/fabric medium method of tinting! I used a set of Derwent Academy pencils from Blick and Ceramcoat medium from Joann. I shaded directly on cotton fabric with the pencils, then used a small, wet, round brush dipped in a tiny amount of fabric medium to blend.
