Here is a wee wall hanging I made. The theme is vintage sewing. I used inkjet cotton fabric and did it with various vintage images (on one sheet, varying the transparancies). I machine quilted it and finally added some sewing charms, a button, glass bead and a bit of vintage trim on the right hand side.

I'd love some feedback!

P.S. Sorry for the not so great photo!

That's lovely! What a nice use of the inkjet fabric (which looks like lots of fun to play with)

The quilt is 25cm high X 27cm wide (about 9/12 inches high and 101/2 inches wide). I used the plain inkjet fabric but there is also a fusible version that I want to play with to make some appliques.

I wish the photo was a bit better. I used vintage adverts from things such as Coaks and Clarks thread, Singer Sewing machine and images of people sewing.

The inkjet fabric was great fun to play with .. it's a so many ideas, so little time kinda thing Smiley

What a neat idea! It is wonderfully executed and choosing to vary the transparancies really gave the quilt a lot of layers to look at. I wouln't have guesed from the picture that the images were printed from a computer.
