I'm Carol and the Connecticut winters are long. I don't quilt, so the fact that I have made 3-4 baby quilts, mug rugs, placemats, etc. must not count.  Wink Projects for 2017
Placemats for soon to be redecorated dining room, 2 done, 4 to go.

I'll add as I go.

Hey guys, I need to pick your brains. I have a friend who just had triplets! She also has a 2 year old daughter. I'm going to make something small for the trips, maybe burp cloths or quilted loveys with fun fur backing, but for the big sister (who is still a baby herself) I wanted to make something a little bigger. I'm wanting to put a cute saying on it with words from my friend Sam's book (Quilt Talk) but I need help with what to do. Shorter is better since it's paper piecing, but I want something different than "big sis." Any ideas?

Hey peeps, I finally got my act together and went ahead and started a new QuiltAlong for the year! Sorry it's so late! I'm starting us off with an easy challenge, be sure to check it out!

https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=452072.0

At least for myself, I kind of need to go through the activity of re-evaluating my list, updating it, and seeing what I want to work on this year. I just had a discussion on FB with some quilty friends about letting go of certain projects, either just giving them away in process or absorbing the pieces into another project, donating for charity quilting, etc. After struggling with finding any kind of joy in a certain project over the weekend at my quilt retreat there is definitely at least 1 project that I am letting go of and I feel super relieved!
