First crochet hat of 2016!  My sister wanted me to make a couple of hats for her friend's grandbabies.  I do whatever my sister asks... Grin.

That hat is totally cute! I love the colors you used! There are 4 babies due at work, so small hats are definitely in my future!

The hats are for twin baby girls...here are the two together.  I am sending them off tomorrow.

They are both adorable! And, I love how you switched the blue and green to make them coordinate without them being identical. Great idea!

Thanks--they are fraternal twins, so the grandmother did not want identical but similar!

That1girl, what a fun hat! And I love how you lined that, good idea! I love hats but it makes my hair look so wild when I turn it of haha  Tongue the lining shoudl help  Smiley

AIMR the twin hats are so cute and really fun!

Here's a picture of the shark hat, don't mention my awkward face/look, haha I was trying to show the hat and there were no models available  Wink
(It doesn't count, 'cause I made it last year, but I promised a picture)

wendiek, that shark hat is fantastic! Thanks for posting the link! I'm going to add it to my list Smiley

And, I'm going to a Boston Celtics game tomorrow, so I might try to knock out a hat tonight so I can wear it to the game. I have to leave here at 10 am, so I'd better get crackin'!

I finished my hat for tomorrow! It's the "Hat with Tassels" and I had to add an extra repeat (plus a few extra stitches in the starting chain) because I crochet pretty tightly (or I have a big head Smiley ). I also changed how I made my tassels- I twisted  2 strands of yarn together and then folded them in half to create the thicker twist, and then I tied the end into a knot. I trimmed that end for a bit of fringe and, at the other end, I put a piece of yarn through the loop and used that to attach it to the hat. I like how it looks!

I just noticed that the hat is on backwards in the photo. And, somehow, my join gave me a diagonal seam, and I don't know why... But, no matter! I have a hat for the game!
