I got 99 problems, but a stitch ain't one.

My first project of the new year! I finished this vase last night and I really love the way it turned out. I also finished up this calendar. I really like it because it reminds me of the practice embroidery cards for kids.

Very cute - especially the vase - never saw anything like that before - was it a pattern or precut?

Thanks all! I am super happy with them.

The vase was a mixture of precut and pattern. the hole were already there and they give you a pattern to follow. Everything comes in a little kit.

This was from DMC's new website Commonthreads. They have a bunch of indie artist that make kits and patterns. It's really great.

So cool! I love the bright colors and tribal-like design of the vase. The calendar is adorable - so fun to have little stitchy details on it.
