Oooo very pretty.  I love the blue one with the decorative edge.  The goth in me is reminded of bat wings.  Love

Not exactly craft, but interior decorating and it fits the July theme of bathroom. I spent the holiday weekend repairing, resurfacing, and repainting my bathroom walls and then finally got to put up "new" decorations in there! There mirror and empty frames are ones I've had for over a decade and it's been a long, long time since the frames have been out of storage. The stags were a gift from a Christmas 2014... so kind of the other end of remembering where you put your gifts!

I meant to complete this cowl for the Canada Meet Up Secret Santa Swap but that just didn't happen. At least it destashed two skeins of yarn that I've had for several years. Unfortunately I still have a skein of each left in my stash.

oh I love that scarf...

You sent me a similar pattern, as I recall...I have made it twice already! Grin

Thanks for reminding me that it is a good destashing project for two smaller balls of yarn...

AIMR, it's the same pattern I sent you. I used two full skeins to create the length, did a single twist, then joined the ends together to make the cowl.

Aw, bummer you didn't get it done in time kbrison.  It is a cool scarf and would have been loved for the exchange!  Thank you for showing me how you did it...not that I can remember it, but still it was neat to watch!

Maybe I'll just have to drop in some day and give you a private lesson or maybe Always could, since she lives closer to you.  Grin

I just found out there's a free knitting and crocheting group at the library every week so maybe I can actually use some of the patterns I've been hoarding and don't know how to read, ha! Not that I need another craft or collection of supplies but, you know, it's good to learn new things!

Whatever the question, the answer is always CRAFTING! It's the fix for all the sicks. Makes me feel better every time.

and remember, ALWAYS USE THE GOOD BEADS, YARN, FABRIC!

Love you all, thank you so much for everything. XO
