Details of swap:
This is a Pinterest swap, meaning that your fellow Craftsters will claim you for something you have pinned on your Pinterest site.  If you don't have a Pinterest but are interested, go here www.pinterest.com to request one.  We recommend having at least 50 pins before you start a Pinterest Swap (so that others can get an idea of your likes & style wants)

(strikethrough doesn't apply to this round, since it's been a year since last round)
If you are late in a previous Pinterest swap, please do not sign up until you send. You will not be accepted. If you still have outstanding claims in any previous round, however, you can still join as long as you are not already late in sending. Also, these swaps are totally independent of each other so if you have maxed out your unreceived but not late claims in last month's swap, you can still make that number this month. Also, the swap organizer reserves the right to refuse participation to those C-sters that she does not feel can meet the requirements or that do not jive well with the group.

Also please note that this swap requires that you communicate with your partner and the organizer.  Please send a PM (including the month of the swap) when you claim, when you send, and when you receive.  People who consistently fail to communicate will be asked to take a break from the Pinterest swap and maybe try again in two months.

Please do not post in this thread until you have been approved by the organizer. This thread is for lists only. Only post once. If you need to change/add something, simply "Modify" your post.

FAQ: Please READ
How does this swap work?
You may choose from anyone's Pinterest board once they have posted a link and bio in this thread.  This is not a chain list swap; its more of a free for all swap.  However, when possible it is nice to claim from those who haven't been claimed or who have claimed more than they have been claimed for. You have two weeks from the date you claim to send your item on its way to the lucky recipient.  Remember to PM the organizer ( & co-organizer) and the recipient when you claim, send, and receive.
Please include the swap name and month in your subject line! Please make sure to include who you are claiming, sending to, or receiving from. You may have up to 2 outstanding (not received) claims. If you are FOC you may have up to 3 outstanding claims.  Everyone MUST make at least one claim.

Unsent Claim Limit:
Friend of Craftster: Three
First-Time Swapper: One
Everyone Else: Two
You may claim again once you have shipped a claim but you can not have more than twice your Unsent Claim Limit outstanding at any one time.

When Claiming: When you PM the organizer (and person you are claiming) for sending and receiving please include the name of the swap (including the round) and the due date of the claim.
I.E.  Sally ----> Suzy for a pink pony saddle due out Jan 1

What should my bio and link look like?
Once you have been approved, you may post in the list thread.  There is no one way to do this but please be sure your bio includes the following:
         - your location and a brief bio (include allergies in red please)
         - your Pinterest link
         - list of boards that are to be used for this swap, or simply say something like "all my boards are game"
         - whether you are okay with supply claims
if you'd like to see a sample, please check a previous round:

What do I need to send?
This swap is for either one medium or 2-3 small items for each claim.  A medium item is one that takes 2 or more hours, $10 - $30, some examples are a single necklace or bracelet or a scarf.  A small item is one that takes 2 or less hours, $10 or less, some examples are earrings/wallets/pouches/bookmarks.

How do the organizers ensure that claims are even?
We don't. But we do try.  One way is that we highlight your name when you have claimed more times than you have been claimed.  We ask that people claim from those that haven't been claimed yet or who have claimed more often than they have been claimed, but there is no guarantee that if you send 5 times that you will receive 5 items.  In fact, theoretically it is quite possible to not get claimed at all.  If this is a major concern for you and you know you would miserable if things were not always even, this may not be the swap for you.  However, I will say that for the most part this is not a big problem in this swap so far.

How closely does the item I send need to resemble the item pinned?
It depends on who you are claiming.  Read the bios carefully.  Read the pins carefully.  Some of us pin items for inspiration and are fine with items that are simply inspired by our pins. Others would like the item to look as close to the pin as possible.

What happens if I am flaked on?
If you are flaked on, you will only receive an angel for as many packages as you have sent.  If you were claimed for 3 packages and you sent 2 packages and one package was flaked on - you will not receive a swap angel.

What do I do if I'm not being claimed?
If you are not being claimed, it might be time to consider your pins.  Do you have enough variety?  Are there enough small and medium items?  Do you have items pinned that require a variety of crafty mediums (ex: knitting, crocheting, sewing, beading, embroidery, etc...)?  Are your pins realistically craftable?  You should shoot for at least 20-30 pins (this includes only those pins you want to be claimed); maybe more if most of your items are on the large side or primarily in one crafty medium.  We have some talented folks on here... but not everyone can do all crafts.  If you find you aren't being claimed...try adding more pins. Annchen posted a great reply about this in the December swap that I highly encourage reading if you are not being claimed.

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer (rscowtown):

Name of swap:  JANUARY 2016 Ongoing Pinterest Swap
Craftster username
Email address
Your real name
Mailing address including the country
Would you be willing to ship to an address outside your own country?
Do you understand that a tracking # (within US) or copy of your postal
receipt (when sending from abroad to US) is required as proof of mailing?  YES/NO
Confirm that are at least 16 years old: (YES/NO)
Your Pinterest link:
Have you posted in the discussion thread?  (required in order to join swap)  YES/NO
What is your favorite thing about January?

Also, remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find other rules about participating in a swap.

I'm Laurel and I live in Wisconsin with hubby, son, daughter and grandson and 3 dachshunds.

Things I don't want to receive in swaps: anything with roses or clowns. Thanks so much!

I added a lot of things to my Amazon wish list:  http://amzn.com/w/1Z0HF1CX825QZ

I have a special Pin board I made just for Craftster swaps, have tons of pins on my entire pinterest, and am trying to thin them out as many are just ones I pinned as cool ideas and don't necessarily want Smiley

Here is my OPS pinterest board link:  https://www.pinterest.com/rscowtown/ongoing-wish-pinterest-swap-board/

new stuff recently added:)......

Hi, I am Katherine and I live in the middle of Montana with my little family. I live with my husband, Eric, my 6-year-old daughter Lola, 2-year-old son Quentin and 8-year-old dog Whisper. I am a painter and stay at home mom. Besides painting, I enjoy visual journaling, simple beaded jewelry, and small sewing projects. I also like reading (when I have the chance), thrift shopping and cooking.

In this coming year, I have a few major goals. First, I am focusing on an art business class and certification. Second, I am getting the family on board for clearing clutter and getting the house nicely decorated. I would charactarize my style as eclectic/boho meets comfy woodsy cabin with touches of Moroccan color and pattern.

Allergies: seafood, cats and smoke

My Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/stellatoescuro/
The boards to use:
Crochet and knit
Finding home
Get dressed:diys
Get dressed: inspiration
Get dressed: jewelry
God gave you hands: stuff I want to make
Little kids: clothing
Little kids: stuff to m ake for them (this is lower priority, but if you see something in your wheelhouse, perfect)
Outdoor and garden

Sometimes I have notes saying what I like or don't like about a pin. But unless I say something specific, you can go with either replica or inspired recreation.

I am down with supply claims. I have a whole supply board you can choose from, but any visual journaling supply would be great. Also, good quality cotton fabric (not cartoon character or licenced prints).

I would prefer not to get knick-knack type things. I have very limited vertical space to display things and a little boy who loves to break things. It's not a great mix.

Often I am not great at altering notes on pins, so if you have questions, feel free to ask. Happy swapping. Smiley

My name is Sammantha. I live in Western New York. I like to sculpt with polymer clay, make cards (greeting and trading), and other paper crafts. I have two babies, Kiely my Chihuahua and Giselle my degu. I would prefer not to receive anything that is gory, profane, or have any nudity.

Allergies: cigarette smoke

Pinterest Link: https://www.pinterest.com/sammylouise40

My Useable Boards:
Crafty Wantness
Christmas crafts
Clay ideas
Disney Crafts
Fashion Wants
Mom's Crafty Stuff ( as the name implies, this is my moms boards)
Patterns and Templates (perler bead, friendship bracelet, and patterns I'd like to try)
Want to Make (you can make them or send me supplies for anything on this board)

I am okay with supply claims. I have a board full of perler bead designs (that would be my patterns and templates board) so perler beads I can use for the designs (esp the Princesses) would be great.

I also love fabrics. Any will do. I'm sure I'll find some use for it since my mom and I recently got into quilting. Smiley

Swapping altered puzzle pieces. PM me if interested in swapping.

Collect pressed pennies so feel free to include any local pennies in with swaps. Smiley

Howdy folks! I'm Laura from South Dakota and I have a problem....I'm addicted to Pinterest.
I'm open to receiving baked squares/goodies for my cravings of all things sweet!  Clearance christmas edibles are welcome as extras too. *hint, hint*

I always enjoy getting items for my 2yr old son, newborn boy items or stuff for my stuck-in-the-80's geeky hubby(his birthday is Jan 29th so items for him are muchly appreciated!)  which my pins will reflect too.
I have no allergies but prefer no real fur used, not a fan of neon colors and items kept away from smoking, thanks. I don't mind getting supplies to make some of the wishlist items either.  I work at a animal shelter so I enjoy pro-adopt items, like modern/woodland/shabby chic themes for the house/jewelry and I'm 7 mos pregnant(did I mention I have sugar cravings?).

So stalk away, I made a craft/items want board just for this! I got over 300 pins so ask any ques if need be. See my etsy favs in my signature for more beloved items too.  Grin

Hi everyone. I'm Louise from Stirling in Scotland, UK.

I have no allergies and I don't smoke, but I do have a shorthair cat (I do my very best to keep her away from craft projects but you know cats)

Any and all of my boards are fair game because my pinning system can be a little random. The Craft board is probably the most useful but there's things scattered in most of the other ones too (except maybe food and travel  Wink) I'm happy with either replicas of pins or using them as inspiration.

I'm fine with supply posts, especially interesting fabric prints.

I like cool colours (blues, dark greens, teals, purples) and neutrals (beige, chocolate etc). I not keen on yellow, bright orange or lime green. I've got some other info on my profile page if that helps out too.

My name is Kitty. I live in Cumbria, in England, with my pooch (Ralph) and pony (Murphy).

I made a specific pinterest board for this swap: https://www.pinterest.com/kitty_anne/crafter-wish-list-board/ Update! Just had a proper Pinterest session and added lots of new pins!

Colour wise, I have a county cottage style home so prefer natural colours and tones, rather than bright colours. If it is for clothing then Im probably open to most colours/patterns but you can always check first!
I put some note cards on the board, these are just for ideas but any cute cards with sayings or cute motifs on would be nice. Happy to have some for different occasions, or some blank ones that can be used for any occasion. Big wishes are a get better soon card for a friend who is having an operation (she loves sausage dogs if that helps) and a wedding card for some friends getting married at the end of Feb.

If anyone does felting, paper cutting or painting, I would love some pictures for the wall in the living room. A nice landscape, trees or woodland animals would be amazing. Even just little pictures that can go along side some other bits would be fab, as this is something I have no hope of making for myself! I put a few pictures on the board just for inspiration, but happy for you to put your own creative twist on these Smiley

If you fancy making something for Ralph (the dog), he is probably a medium size on most pattern charts. He is a small breed (Jack Russell Terrier) but big for his breed. He is a lot bigger than a Chihuahua which I think the small sizes are normally for. Plus he loves a good outfit... Well, I love him in a good outfit, he has very little say on the matter...  Just let me know if you want his measurements!

There are some things I would like as gifts as well as for myself, so happy to receive multiple coffee cup cozies, note cards, yarn bowls or candles.

Also happy to receive supplies for rubber stamping or silk screening, or craft cottons for sewing, ribbons, buttons, embellishments... I like cute fabrics and patterns and can also make use of kiddie fabrics as my friend has a 6 month old son. Also need some embroidery hoops, any sizes are fine.

Finally, thanks for having me and happy crafting! Smiley

Milo from Scarborough, Ontario here. I'm a very hyper 40 year old. I don't have any pets, but am currently searching for a canine companion.

Here's my pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/milonewsted/

All my boards are game, though you might be hard pressed to come up with things related to some of them. I'd love to receive something based on my inspiration or physical activity boards. Wall art or maybe a stamped cuff with one of the quotes on it?

Um.. what else? I just started bullet journaling, if you can come up with fun things related to that, I'd love it!

I like surprises; go ahead and use my pins as inspiration rather than directions.

I carry a bag that says FREE KNITTING LESSONS on my daily transit commute, & give a little hands-on tutorial to anyone who asks. They get a starter kit with needles, enough cotton yarn to make a plain dishcloth and a set of instructions. Swaps/donations for materials welcome!
