Dew-that vest is from a t-shirt ?! Wow !!

Nope.  The vest was $2 a yard at walmart pretend suede.  I used one of my son's t-shirts to make a sort of pattern from.  In other words, I folded the t-shirt in half, tucked in the sleeves and cut around it.

My sewing skills are...backwards.  Or, perhaps psychotic is a better term.  I can fake a pattern from almost anything, and can sew things together with little to no profanity, but I have the most aggravating time when it comes to simple things like "threading the machine needle".  Tongue

That is a real talent...to be able to use clothing to make something else...I have a book on how to do it and I still can't seem to, but give me a pattern and I can put the puzzle together like a champ!  I can deconstruct pretty readily...look at something and figure out the pieces...funny how we all have such unique talents in so many different ways to get it done! Congratulations Lindy. You are going to give me a serious case of " I want to go to Disney too" with all the neat items for your trip.

Bethnim, both the yarn bag and basket are creative, beautiful and useful. I love the pockets and the tiny details of the YarnAGo.

Yofi, that's a cute Miyazaki shrine. The totoro is super cute and I love the knitted chibis. I can see why you partner was pleasantly surprised.

My son is a huge Dan TDM fan.  He really wanted a shirt, but they are more expensive than the budget can handle at the moment.  So I made him one.  He is over the moon.

I have no idea what that is, but it is nicely done! Grin

Personally, I think the Merona or Missoni brand Tshirts sold at Target are awesome. Usually they're sold under $10 each, in a variety of colors, and they're super soft and flattering.

As far as tees go, I personally tend to go with what I can get on sale.  Roll Eyes  LOL!

I will head to Target!  Thanks!  Walmart overwhelms me with all of the stuff...can't do it alone!

audio--those are cool...what is the middle?

I made a hoop for a friend who started back to work...a friendly reminder to behave when surfing the internet! Grin
