Carol, thanks for the crochet word charts link. I've never seen that style of directions, so you've given me a new challenge that I intend to share with my crochet club today.

CAROL! I love the doctor who scarf!
I forgot about a doctor who themed present-project for my sister. I'll have to add it to the list.

I had a project I thought I might finish by Sunday night but the friend it was for decided not to come out to the hockey game, where I usually see her, so I just put i back in the pile. Maybe later this week.

Cool scarves Carolmb. The Dr. Who is very neatly done and beautiful. The Jack and Sally is fun and beautiful too.

These baskets look fun to make Vampeldangel. My favorite is the one you made with your hand spun yarn. I love the colors, the texture and the fact that it is hand spun.

Bushbaby, the celtic knots are impressive. I hope you feel better soon.

Alwaysinmyroom, a pneumonia? That's scary. Luckily, it must be improving now.

bushbaby--your shawl turned out to be so lovely!  I hope you feel better soon...I have been ill as well going on three weeks--turned out I had pneumonia!  I am on the mend, I think!  At least I am back at work!

Thanks  Smiley nothing quite that serious over here, just a nasty virus that has kept me off work & knackered for a week. Also managed to infect my hubbie so he's been off work 2 days now as well  Embarrassed going to see the doc tomorrow & suspect I will be signed off work for another week at least to recover (thanks to the stupid M.E.  Angry )

I went right from page 1 to page 25  Grin, I'll try and read back.
I fell away from Craftster last year, life got pretty crazy! My husband was hospitalized for a bit, then put on dialysis, but he's doing all right with it. Kiddo having college stress. And just things being hectic in general. But I've missed this place!
So, sign me up. ^_^

Goals-keep making altered bottles, try some new techniques.
Big, over reaching, the impossible dream goal-to clear out the junk room and make it useable. A place to work on projects, ect.
I have a gigantic mirror that needs to be fancied up.
Making more fun comic book related crafts.
Experimenting with jewelry!

I so missed your ray guns and your picture frames and recycled projects!  I am glad you are back...

I decided to see if I can make some practical use of all of those dang adult coloring books I got last year...coloring those pages is stress relief for me and keeps me from snacking in the evening...but what to do with all of the finished pages, especially the ones that did not turn out too great?  I decided to cut them up and use them to make a few notecards for swaps... Grin.  I have other projects in mind as well and would love to hear other ideas...

These were colored with children washable markers...$1 at the Dollar Store! Oh--and the original picture was a cow head...ha ha

Good to have you back, Bookstorebabe.

I like all the repurposed coloring pages, but the fractured card is definitely my favorite.

What a great idea!  I have one of those books too...being that I always need a "purpose" for my crafting...I'll be doing exactly that with the pictures that I color!
