Sheepblue, the flower is amazing.

Lindy, I'm thinking of you at this time of loss. Sadly, I can't do more.

I am spending part of my staycation working on WIPS!

Yesterday, hubs and I took a break and went hiking--like 20 miles of hiking!  It was nice to come home and sit for a while and sew (to rest my poor legs!)...

We went to Ricketts Glen State Park in PA...

I managed to finish this apron for a friend...I started it a year ago but got so frustrated doing the binding...never ever make an apron that needs binding! It takes way too long for my attention span!

Detail shot--three different fabrics from the same collection: birds, stripes, dots

What a pretty apron!  And the hike looks like it was wonderful!  I need to do more hiking... here's hoping it cools down a little soon. We are still in triple digits in AZ.

It was about 80 degrees but the forest shaded us from the sun...I swear I drank 4 huge bottles of water...we hiked for over 5 hours and covered a little less than 20 miles...I am sore today but home cleaning out my craft room and getting ready to finish some more wips!

Thanks...I am also going to deliver the apron to my friend...she is tiny so she will appreciate the tiny apron! It won't even go around me!

Hello all!
I've been busy with my little froggy lately and haven't done much crafting. He likes to try to chew my yarn so I can't crochet as I hold him. He chews ALL THE THINGS these days though Roll Eyes

But I have managed to make a wallet for myself in Slytherin's colors:

And a Luigi hat for my cousin's son, the same one who got the Mario hat (it will be put up for Christmas):

Love the apron and Luigi's hat. Great projects!

5+ hours of hiking? Geez! Are you trying to kill yourself before you can reach my age? Seriously glad though that you were up to the challenge. Don't know that I ever was, even when I was young, slim, and fit. I was always more of a tree climber than a hiker.  Grin

I am surprised that you can even keep up with your baby let alone crochet with him!  Nice that you got a few projects done!!

lol kbrison...Jim and I are preparing ourselves for our lifelong dream of going to Australia for a few months...we will be doing a lot of hiking so we wanted to start now!  I have been walking for 4 miles or more per day doing virtual races...lol...it has cut into my crafting time, but I feel great!
