In this month's swap, gallery not up yet, but partner received. did Me as a Magical Creature. I am Siiiker, the flying cat who finds all lost or abandoned kittens.  here I am finding another under a crumbling stone step.
I looooved this theme. Gonna add it to my own list.

Well done; all the lost kittens of the world could definitely use a protector like that!

It's too bad that there isn't such a thing as flying cats in real life, as that'd be super cool.  On the downside, I suppose they'd end up decimating the world's bird populations if they could take to the air like that though.  On that note, I once read a science fiction story where a scientist liked the Cheshire Cat, from Alice in Wonderland, so much that he/she genetically altered cats so that they could really turn invisible, at will, like the fictional feline, and that had disastrous repercussions for our feathered friends.
