Hello, everyone! Long time lurker here, decided to post for the first time. Greetings from Poland Smiley

I used a thrifted IKEA curtain to make this autumn parka. I'm absolutely in love with it Smiley I used the Burda 11/2011 #112 pattern; it was pretty easy to use, but needed some size alterations as it was probably intended to look oversize what I didn't appreciate.

What a great Ikea hack!  Love that pattern on the fabric, makes for a great Fall coat.

I have that curtain! Cheesy I would never have thought of using it for clothing, but it makes a brilliant parka. Beautifully done, and brilliant of you to think of it.
