I got 99 problems, but a stitch ain't one.

I have these amazing small handmade dishes that have pine cones on them. I wanted to build my Thanksgiving and Christmas table around these dishes. I found other dishes that matched and wanted to have linen napkins to complete the look. I didn't have time to make separate Christmas and Thanksgiving napkins so I stitched the napkins with a fall/winter theme.

On one corner is a monogram of my last name with a wood/pinecone theme. The pattern used for the monogram is a very old (I believe French) pattern and the other side are pine cones, again from a vintage pattern.

Very pretty!  I love the theme... but I always hated the idea of someone messing up something so beautifully made with their goopy muckmouths and hands!

Beautifully done, and "goopy muckmouths" is my new favourite phrase.

Beautiful! Smiley I use cloth napkins all the time, and find people are more careful with them than paper. As long as they are natural fabric they wash up fine.
