I found this pattern on Attic24's blog and fell in love with it so I had to make it Smiley.  This was only my second ever crochet project and I'm really happy with how it turned out (even if it is a slight trapezoid instead of a rectangle Smiley).  It's one of my favorite things that I've made so far Smiley

I love that blog!  Her patterns are colorful and easy!

Your blanket turned out lovely! Did you use her method of crocheting the ends so you don't have to weave them all in at the end?  I love doing it that way...makes all those stripes so much more enjoyable to do!

Good job!

I'm obsessed with her blog (and crocheting now)!  I'm currently working on her Harmony Blanket and the Sunny Stripe CAL.  So much brightness and fun colors!

I wish I would have tried crocheting in the ends.  Instead I weaved them all in by hand like a crazy person  Roll EyesCheesy

I wish I could take credit for the colors but they're actually the same ones that Lucy used on her blog.  I did pick my own color order for the boarder though Smiley

GORGEOUS!!! I am so obsessed with Lucy and the Attic 24 blog. Everything she makes is beautiful and wooly perfection. She is my crocheting idol. You did wonderfully on your afghan. I've been working on Lucy-ghan for an embarassingly long time  Shocked

I have made four of her blankets..if it were not for her crocheting the ends technique, I would never have gotten them completed!  I also order the same colors she uses and I have found that even with shipping, the prices are good for making such large projects!

Yeah for other lovers of Attic 24!!

I love the colors, and also the binding edge. Glad you were featured. And that looks like a comfy afghan. When are you sending it to me?  Grin Just kidding, keep it for yourself or family. Nice project. It would take me years to make something like that.

This is so pretty! I did a zigzig/chevron style afghan inspired by hers a few years ago and love it. Your piece inspires me to see if I have enough washable worsted to start another!

I love her blog! Which blankets have you made?  I'm about 3/4 done with the harmony and am doing the sunny granny stripe CAL.  So many pretty colors!  Smiley

Cheesy

it's such a comfy blanket! Really lives up to its name!  It was actually pretty quick to work up compared to the granny square one I'm currently working on.  It's a great project for when you want to watch tv but want something for your hands to be doing.

Your blanket is lovely!  I'm a bit in love with Attic 24 too, I made a granny stripe blanket for a friend but I think it's about time I made one for myself too!
