Here is a basket-weave blanket that I have been working on for awhile. I used TLC Amore which is now unfortunately discontinued now.  Embarrassed

There are 15 colors with 12 rows of each color. I used a J/10 hook

Here It is almost complete

The final size is 68hx53w inches. Which was almost big enough to cover a queen sized bed

The colors are from the top left going clock-wise - Lake Blue, Plum, Wheat, Light Thyme, Hot Pink, Rose, Sea Glass, Vanilla, Celery, Raspberry, Red Velvet, Dark Thyme, Sand, Grape, and Navy

Me lounging with my new blanket making a new project

The pattern is simple. The original pattern stop at 8 row repeat, but I did 12 because each skein of yarn did twelve rows before running out.

Foundation Row: Chain 200. Begin in 3rd ch from hook and work 1 dc in each ch.

Row 1, 3, 6, 8, 10, 12: Chain 3 (counts as a dc), skip first st, *FPdc around post of each next 4 sts, BPdc around post of next 4 st, rep from * across. 1 dc in top of turning chain.

Row 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11: Chain 3 (counts as a dc), skip first st, *BPdc around post of each next 4 st, FPdc around post of next 4 st, Rep from * across. 1 dc in top of turning chain.

Repeat rows until you have the desired length and add a border if you wish
