When I picked up this wooden picture frame in a charity shop recently I was sure it would lie around gathering dust for a while in my collection of 'must have and do something with some day...' Roll Eyes So, I was surprised to find myself working on this pretty much straight away.

A lick of black paint and lots of layers of paper, and lots and lots of tinkering with bits and bobs...and the shrine was born Smiley

A plainer front to disguise all the fancyness inside Wink I love some of the textures to the paper/paint combo

The back

Loving my autumnal colours at the moment!

Here's how it started off...

Stunning! Shocked I love that the outside is a bit plain compared to the inside. It adds to the beauty.

There's not much in this world that can't be improved by either chocolate, bacon or glitter.

Wowzers! I second the appreciation of the plainer outside and front leading to an extra surprising inside and back!

This is a really interesting bit of art! I love the slightly steampunkish vibe it has
