Dotees are so much fun. No arms, no legs, just all personality. Meet "Jacquotte". She's gone to live with blupaisan and to sail the stormy seas.

She has a sword, a pirate hat with a feather, and masses of red hair. But her lacy under skirt reveals her soft side. Watch out, she will sink your ship. And check out the Sept. Monthly Dotee swap. https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=440774.0

She's so cute! I mean, fierce. Please don't make me walk the plank, Captain Jacquotte!

I love her braids, and the teensy skull on her hat.

she hangs right above my computer. She says "hi" to you, cmarion. I love the jaunty angle of her hat.

The hat was fun. I thought there was some secret to the tricorn hat, but it's just a big brimmed hat with three sides tacked up. I can do that! Those stylish pirates knew how to keep the brims out of the way! I'm sure it was a style

The tricorn became popular in the 17th century. "The tri-corner, however, had three sides of the brim turned up, either pinned or buttoned in place to form a triangle around the wearers headlike a mince pie, to quote the vernacular of the time. This style then allowed the wearer to show off his latest wig fashion underneath, and thus his social status."

And the American revolution spawned lots of pirates raiding English ships. I love history.

Jacquotte is adorable and the angle of her hat is sooooo saucy. Well done on cramming in so much character.
