This is the second pair of fingerless gloves that I made using the Catching Butterflies pattern from Woodland Knits, but without the butterflies added this time (and I haven't taken pictures of the first pair Tongue). I picked up the rainbow striping yarn on sale last time I went to Joann's and absolutely loved the mottled bits of colors in each of the stripes. I wasn't completely excited how the stripes turned out in the gloves, but it was pretty enough. I forgot to change needle sizes after doing the ribbing on the first glove, so I wound up just making them a bit small and giving them to my niece. She was with me on a cruise in August, so after I finished them up, we just took a couple of quick photos from the balcony of the room my in-laws were in, so please excuse the weird background.

Pretty! I have that book, but haven't made anything from it yet. The stitch pattern looks really nice with the striping.

They are just perfect!
I love the color combination you used, bright and sunny but soft at the same time.
