Hi there!  I made up some lotion bars for my shop in the "Shop the Swap" swap.  I first made some earlier this year as favors for my sister's bridal shower. They were wonderful, even my daughter, baby bean loves them!  Actually, she is downright obsessed.  Lol!  I used Wellness Mama's recipe for these, which can be found on her blog here: http://wellnessmama.com/4770/lotion-bars/   Its an awesome blog with some really great tutorials for natural living.  These are super easy and quick to make!  I bought a couple of molds from Hobby Lobby.  Simply, you boil water, pour equal parts of coconut oil, cocoa butter (or shea or mango butter), and beeswax into a big mason jar and still continuously until melted together.  After you remove it from the heat, you can mix in some essential oils, if you want.  The are great unscented, though.  I added some lavender essential oil to some of mine. Then you let them cool completely in their molds, and then pop them out!  They make great gifts!

Thanks for looking!

That's really neat. I bet they are amazing. I get dry skin in the winter too. I'll have to try this out.  Cheesy

Yup I'm makin these!!! Did you use bleached bees wax? I know where to get some natural yellow color bees wax but not the white kind without ordering it. Also, how do you think vitamin E would do in this? Sorry for the questions. Just curious!

My bees wax was yellow, so my lotion bars are yellowish with the coconut oil and Shea butter.
