I saw these cute crochet frames highlighted in the Craftster blog so I decided to make a couple.  Once I made them, I then realized I needed to put something in them...so I googled vintage Halloween images and quickly made these up.

I used a cardboard circle, covered it with white batting, then glued and sewed the embroidery on the top.

It was a fun and easy project.  Think I will make a few of these for Christmas gifts and hostess gifts.

Thanks!  yes, they would!  You can make the crochet frames any size and they do stretch!  You can put just about anything inside...if you want an even quicker project, you  an frame some Halloween or other holiday pictures as well.  I even thought about doing a little bunting with them.

I enjoy doing simple projects as I continue my saga to get through all of the Star Trek episodes ever made! ha ha

lol I meant "quickly" like,  seeing the idea and then making them...I can't tell you how many things I put on Pinterest or my list and don't get around to trying them until years later! ha ha  I am one of those people who...oh, look, a bunny! Grin

Thanks, I think each one took one episode of Star Trek: Enterprise....
