Well, that's something that would never get any play in the South. Cheesy What a fun idea for snowy regions, though; you are so clever! I know you'll love having an accurate scale to measure your snowfall.

Ha! Definitely a regional craft. Maybe there's some way to make a mailbox or something into a humidity meter? Wink

I don't have a clothes line, but I was thinking a snow gauge would be handy ( mostly because everyone asks me how much snow we have and I never really have a good idea.) Maybe I'll attach mine to that wood shed you've inspired me to make.   Wink

Ha! Yes, we would often guess based on how deep the birdbaths were buried and how tall the column of snow on top of them was, but now we will have imperial, hard, scientific data!
