While working on and contemplating my last charm bracelet, (all about New England), I was also reminded of the joys of skiing the many mountains of my homeland.  Add to that the wish that Tennessee would hurry up and get the memo that we should be starting to cool off now (it's 86 degrees here today) and I've been dreaming of cold weather.  Cold weather and the fun of budnling up to go skiing in it.

And even better, the joy of coming off the mountain to a warm cozy ski lodge, complete with fire, and hot chocolate.  Preferably with a dash of Kahlua or peppermint schnapps in it.

This piece was pretty fun to make.  Especially since the charms are so damn adorable.  Tiny skis, boots, goggles and gloves, people on a chair lift, cozy knit hats and sweaters, and the sun shining on a beautiful mountain.  How much more cute can you get?

The beads are a mix of Czech glass beads in shades of frost, clear, and ice blue.  Perfect for a wintery day.

Love your work! Where do you get all of your many, varied charms? And are they sterling, or something else??

Most of my charms are pewter, and some are Tibetan silver.  As for where I get them, check my profile dear!  I get asked so often that I put the answer there to save typing it out each time.  Cheesy
