I made this for KarenLouiseM in the vintage Halloween swap -- it's featuring her little dog Max as a bone shop owner. Grin

The box is a shadowbox that I've had for some time (waiting for the perfect project), and Max and all the bones are made out of paper clay. The rounded stage is just double-sided heavy scrapbook paper -- the dots are velvety.

A close up of Max with a cheesy grin and orange fluffy collar:

His pricing -- he's a very good sales dog:

This bone container was made from a Tropicana lid I believe -- I used some gold rub on it, and it worked out well!

Thanks for looking!

I thought this was the sweetest little tribute for her dear departed dog, Max!

It is fun and a nice way to celebrate the little guy by imagining him with his bone shop...the details are nice and I love how you repurposed some things in both this and the spool project!

The bone holder is lovely!

Thanks so much for the kind words! This was a blast to make. Cheesy

Are the photos showing up sideways? They were straight on my PC, but are now sideways on my phone. Sorry to make anyone crane their necks! Technology is rarely my friend. Ha.

I LOVE. IT. I love anything with dogs and Halloween. there needs to be more of that. I am hoping to make something similar because I love this thing so much. I'd love to do it with my puppy but she is really fluffy and that's hard to communicate in clay or art. You did such a great job and it's so unique!
