Thanks everyone! I think I didn't post it originally just because I was a goof and didn't take a lot of pictures so I didn't think it was much of a bother to be posting.

Do you start with a pattern/shape drawn out on your foundation piece, and then slowly layer in the pieces?

Hi JoyfulClover! I start with a pattern of my basic shapes. I try to start in the middle and work outward so that my fabric remains as flat and even as possible, so for this one I filled in the shape of the woman first, then worked on the wings, and then did the background last. However with this one, I worked from bottom to top on the background portion so I think that's why the top area got a little wonky in the end. But I still like how it turned out.

I'll try to remember to take step by step pictures next time I do one of these to show what I'm talking about.
