I was trying to find a pattern on how to make a pair of rat ears for a hood I'm making, but it seems every pattern I find is basically just circles. Great for Micky Mouse-- but real rat ears don't look like that.

Ive never knitted animal ears of any kind before but I'm gonna try to make my own pair, any tips I should keep in mind?

Hmm, I seem to remember that this pattern:

Has pointy ears in it. You could probably scale them up a little for your hoodie.
