I am so glad I finished this. No more loosing the ill fitting store bought bikini while swimming (ok, I admit, it was from H&M, so I probably shouldn't have expected it to fit...).

Anyway, I'm so pleased with the outcome. I sewed one morning straight from nine to one and then my friends took me to the beach to try it out.





I used this pattern: http://store.closetcasefiles.com/products/bombshell-swimsuit, she also has a sew-along on her blog that saved a lot of thinking on my part. Really nice pattern to work with!

Very cute and retro. I like that style suit on you. LOOKS GREAT! Lauren Becall comes to mind. And I can totally relate to loosing a bikini. I am slender like you, and used to water ski  Roll Eyes Oooops.
