It's been far too long since I posted anything on Craftster, so I thought I'd better try and catch up with some of the things I've made.

Here are some mini amigurumi I made, a selection of little creatures including snails, beetles, ladybirds (ladybugs), spiders, and baby frogs, all between 1.5" and 2.5" long. I initially designed most of these when I was making lots of tiny things to sell at my sons' school bazaar, then I worked on the designs and came up with lots of variations. I also made a little playmat for the creatures, with a toadstool in the middle and a hollow log for them to play in.

These are the baby frogs, it's fun to make lots of these, and they enjoy playing in the hollow log.

I love snails - I don't even mind that they're slimy, but these are a non-slimy alternative.

The spider's legs are stiff enough for them to stand up nicely. I had fun playing with stitches to make interesting designs on their backs, or using variegated yarns.

I made two types of beetle, an oval-shaped one and a round ladybird/ladybug. As you can see, they fit quite well in a matchbox.

I hope you like all my mini creatures, I certainly had fun making them all.

They are all lovely. The frogs are so sweet and I also love the beetles in matchboxes - like A A Milne's Alexander Beetle

Outstanding work!  I like the snails and the log the best (which is the first time I've ever seen that kind of object done in this medium), but they're all stellar pieces and make a great group.
