Saw these on youtube and knew I had to make them.  It takes a bunch of jello, but the end was worth it.  Everyone at the block party I took them to kept chatting them up the entire night.  People were fascinated by them.  I was mean and wouldn't tell them the secret of the blue at the top, LOL.  But here's the secret.  You layer them upside down.  Start with the blue as a full base and when it is set cut it into strips, and then layer the red and white over it.

But here's where I found them at,  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=029MeniEifU  They are so fun!  Taste is like a dumb gelatin jiggler, but it's okay enough.  The novelty is good enough to make the taste.  My only hint is to not let the layers set too well.  Pour the next layer when the first is still tacky set or else your layers will come apart.

Flag Jellos

Red layers:
4 boxes red jello (strawberry, raspberry or cherry)
1 envelope unflavoured gelatin (1/4 oz)
4 cups boiling water
Blend together and stir until gelatin dissolved.

Blue layer:
3 packs blue jello
1 envelope unflavoured gelatin (1/4 oz)
3 cups boiling water
Blend together and stir until gelatin dissolved.

White layer:
1/2 cold water
2 envelopes unflavoured gelatin ( 1/4 oz each)
1 1/2 cup boiling water
1 can sweetened condensed milk (10z or 300ml)

Combine 1/2 cup cold water with two envelopes gelatin.
Stir and allow to sit for 2 minutes.
Add 1/2 cup boiling water and stir until gelatin is dissolved.
Set aside
Combine the sweetened condensed milk with 1 cup boiling water and stir until combined.  Add in the first gelatin mixture to the milk mixture and stir.

Pour blue mixture into the bottom of a very very lightly greased 9x13" pan.
Allow to set completely, this will take 40 minutes or so.

Cut the blue jello with a sharp knife into 1 inch strips starting from the short side.  Remove every other strip leaving a bunch of blue stripes going across the short side of the pan.

Pour 3 tbsp of the red mixture into each of the blank spaces in the pan between the blue stripes.
Allow to set completely in refrigerator (until your fingers no longe leave fingerprints in the jello when you touch it). This will take about 20-30 minutes.

Pour 3 tbsp of the white mixture over the red stripes and allow to chill until set.

The mixture between the blue stripes should be flush with the tops of them, if it isn't add more white or a thin layer of red and allow to set.

Pour 1 1/4 cups of red mixture over the entire surface of the set jello. Allow to set.
Pour 1 1/4 cups of white mixture over the red, allow to set.
Continue alternating red and white layers until all mixtures used up.
Allow the completed pan to refrigerate for at least an hour or so.
Slice as per video instructions.

**your unused mixtures may start to set while you are waiting for the layers in the fridge.  You can put your containers in  a hot water bath to keep them liquified.
