This quilt is on my bucket list.  I would like to make a Lonestar quilt, probably in a full to queen size.  I like the radiant starburst layout but that isn't a requirement.  I want to use the strip piecing technique.  Does anyone have any pattern/book/blog recs?  What I'm seeing on blogs are smaller stars or patterns lacking yardage requirements.  And the books I've seen have more elaborate variations.  I just want the plain ol' giant star and I don't want to have to tweak it.

I haven't made one before, but I would probably go with the Angel Fire one. It does have the Radiant Star layout. It's 70 inches big, is that as large as you like?

I'm guessing you've already checked out the Craftsy article on it, but I found it really interesting, especially the part about it being a design used in Native American art. There used to be a Lone Star quilt hanging at my doctor's office (I go to an Indian clinic) and I always meant to ask permission to get a picture but would forget and last time I was there I noticed it's not hanging any longer.
