It's July! I can't believe the year is half over already. Time flies when you're having fun. I've been having a blast decorating a new little tin each month this year. Only five more to go, now that July's done.

My favorite part of July is the fireworks. This tin celebrates the traditions, fun, and festivities of a 4th of July celebration.

EDIT:
August already? Here's this month's tin:

I know most kids have been back to school for weeks already, but I always think of September as the Back to School month. Not sure how happy this little sweetie is to be back, but she's definitely dressed for the occasion. One of my girls' elementary school teachers used to call little girls "bow heads" when they wore big bows like that. Cheesy

I found a set of 12 tins at Tuesday Morning last year, and altered one with a Halloween theme in January. I was just getting ready to make a giant Halloween set of 12, when I decided to make a year long project of altering each one to match the current month. I used to love being in the Book of the Month club, so I thought it was a fun title.

cackle and pottermouth got that same set of tins, and are making Tins of the Month, too. Not sure they always post them here, though.

I don't know. Could be Frisbee. Or maybe a hat, or a brooch.

Or, maybe a brooch that can be worn as a hat and used as a Frisbee. Cheesy

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Too cute! Your flurfy bits around the tins are always perfect. I thought the little guy was waving around his plate because he heard the burgers were ready.
