I was playing around with making some fish ATCs to trade on another (ATC) forum. 

I used an acrylic paint background and used micron and gel pens for the fish.  I really like how the pens make the fish pop from the background, so I thought I'd share!


(They're all fish that can be found here.)

Cool stuff!  The fish/coral look great, as do the backgrounds (I especially like the swimmers in the first image, as the mottled white streaks running down the length of their bodies strikes me as a particularly realistic reflection of light from the shimmering water).

Thanks!  They seem less vibrant in the pictures... and there's always something lost when ATCs are pictured a lot larger than real life. Hm.
