After spending most of the night looking for fairy kei/pastel lolita knitting patterns (and then having my laptop overheat and shut off, but that's another story -_-) I come with cap in hand hoping for some help. The only sites I could find on Google haven't updated in a while, weren't what I was looking for or were too advanced for me. I started knitting several years ago and have picked it back up a couple days ago but knitting and purling is about all I can do at this point. (I started a simple scarf to practice)

Since I admit I'm not being very specific, here is what I'm looking for more or less:
-rainbow or star scarves (I found here a double knit star scarf that is something I'd be interested in but I don't know how to double knit)
-hair bows or headbands
-wristbands or finger-less gloves

thanks in advance ^_^

Are you on ravelry? If not, sign up. I found a whole bunch of patterns just with the searches "rainbow scarf" or "hair bow"

I think the best way to find this type stuff is to look for vintage glove patterns and old fashion type knitting patterns. You can tweak them a bit to make then look more modern and fairy kei rather than just old fashioned!

Maybe look for Victorian knitting patterns? And then is pastel colors?
