It's June so we all know what that means, half way til Christmas! Wink LOL!
I do my shopping year round and this month on the Summer Games the Battle is creepy vs cute. Don't know what the Games are? Check it out here...
They are super fun and really get your creative juices flowing. You can join any time and right now is perfect since the Games just started.  Wink
Anyhoo... back to what I was saying. I decided to go ahead and make tags for my Christmas gifts. I wanted to make them myself this year to be a bit more personal (and possibly because I am cheap).
Here's the finished results. I plan to double stick tape the backs of them or punch holes to dangle them depending on the package.

I started off with the sketch in the top center and placed it under the other sheets and traced it and added different themes to it. Bunny1kenobi helped me come up with ideas (thanks Bestie!).
Then I scanned it into the computer and traced them all in Photoshop. Sure there was an easier way but I am not great at Photoshop so this was how it was done.  Tongue

I colored them in, which wasn't as easy as I thought, and then shrunk them down so they would equal three across.

Then I printed them on cardstock and cut them out! I normally use markers to color everything so this was a different result for me. I thought they turned out cute. Cute was my goal.  Wink
 Thanks for checking them out!

These turned out so stinking cute!

And way to go, leaving your comfort zone!  Photoshop just kind of scares me, so you get a double high five from me!  (don't tell your dad that I'm high-fiving without him! LOL!)

So adorable! Such a great idea to get on top of the little Christmas details now rather than leave them till the last minute! (as I'll invariably do...) Cheesy

Wow, I was wondering how you got that glossy printed finish!  So they are in fact printed! Thanks for the step-by-step description of your process!  I agree; those cats are SO CUTE, and you are so prepared for the holidays!!  Wow!!

Great-looking feline gift tags that I'm sure the recipients will love, come December.  I like the calico kitty with the mistletoe, the black cat with the bow on its head, and the orange one with the string of lights the best out of the lot, but they're all adorable!

Thanks everyone! I like the one with the lights. He's why I decided to try my hand at Photoshopping them so I could do the little light halos.  Cheesy
