A bouquet of film flowers made for the Chicago International Movies & Music Festival (CIMMfest.org).
The vase is made from a Chicago record album, the flowers from an actual 35mm film, and the stems made with sheet music and liner notes.
The center of the flowers are made from guitar picks and 45rpm record middles.

Wow, this is really different from what I expected when I clicked on it! Very cool and clever. The 45 rpm adapter really takes me back! Did you melt the record in the oven?

What an interesting transformation! You achieved some cool waves and twists with the film. They really do look like bold flowers!

Very unique and clever use of memorabilia you collected from your Chicago festival!

I love Chicago, so this project really caught my eye!

The vase and the fringey flower are my favorites!

Film strips!  Omigosh I feel old lol.   These flowers and vase really make great use of "obsolete" materials.
