Last spring, we entered a 1 mile walk/ fun run with our kids to raise money for The adneoid cystic carcinoma research foundation. (ACCRF). They ran, we walked. there was also a 5k/10 k that day.  With our race numbers, we were able to order pictures taken by a photographer during the race, and i finally got them scrapbooked. and displayed in a standing rack.

I love the look of chalkboard art, so i used a dark grey matboard, and white colored pencil to draw the logo from our family t-shirts. I had origionally designed the shirts to wear at the race.

i also used logos from race flyers for embelishments.

The I added, the barcode element from the challenge to the picture of my kids. If you tip the page and look at it from a steep angle, you can actually see that it is letters that i streached before typing them out to add another verse to the page.

FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT FINISH THE RACE

The barcode idea is so clever! What a neat way to hide a special (or secret) message Smiley. This whole thing is a great way to commemorate the day with your family. Good stuff!
