This is the product of several book making workshops over the past few years.  Last year, they had one for making "pocket" books.  The instructor had bits and pieces of various items we could use to cover chipboard as a front and back.  After I saw a Hatch Show Print, this idea actually popped into my head as we go to this concert series every year.  I hadn't gotten around to creating the books yet though.  I knew I wanted a hard cover/book board (from yet another class) instead of what we did for these books.  Eventually I do plan on going back and doing the previous years, but I wanted this one ready for 2015 for the inserts!  What I came up with is as follows....

Front cover with spine title for putting on a bookcase.

When you open the book, you go inside the Ryman Auditorium (where the series is held) from the stage view....

Inside the book...(Disclosure: I had to make copies of another ticket from this year to "hold the place" of the series tickets for when they come in as they aren't mailed out for at least a couple more weeks.)  Each page is using elements from the original Hatch Show Print to keep it uniform.  The only thing they didn't put on the HSP was the year.  Not sure why they never do that.

The "inserts" in each pocket are a "journaling page" - to make notes after each show (because at some point, the shows start to run together like who surprised who on what show!), a photo (which is actually holding the place of actual concert photos from after each show - obviously won't have those in time to post this), and the ticket itself.  (As soon as those are available, I will post updates.  I promise.)

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Thanks guys!  Have considered doing this for my Tennessee Titans Tix too.  I'm going to be cutting up a lot of book board.   Shocked

#1 Love Robert Earl Keen and Vince Gill.

#2 This is the best way to show off your tickets. It is so Americana and just perfect.
