I am sure a similar question has been asked before but I am also looking for a repeatable procedure for this specific need.

I have a few frock coats of various shades of green that I would like to darken. The coats are mostly finished (buttons liners and tailored) but are just the wrong shade of green. I am looking for a green more akin to rifle green. They are currently more like an emerald green or moss green (pics soon).
