Beautiful things. I still have not managed to get an action shot. I will still try, but for now...

The beautiful barefoot sandal.

And an amazing hip scarf.

That hip scarf is going to get a lot of use. Smiley

Those are lovely, definitely want action shots, especially of the sandal.  Smiley

Thanks Wulf!

My husband and I have titled the Pan painting "Pan Sitting in Judgement."  It is in our kitchen now, and Pan is disapproving of our culinary efforts.   Cheesy

So after an agonising wait of a week to open my package from Wulf (I was away from home and knew it had been delivered to a neighbour) I got to open it this morning..it was totally worth the wait..

He made me this set of four lanterns, they are amazing and very clever, he had to design them so that they were collapsible for shipping, so they are the lightest silk, all completely hand made with dowel and tin. And the best bit, he carved the stamps of the sun and moon..and then sent me the stamps too

these are the two stamps in a lovely tarot deck pouch (really need this!) and look at the lovely card!

And if that weren't enough, 'in lieu' of chocolate, he sent me two crafting books!! I love craft books with an unseemly passion, sewing and printmaking..perfect...I would take books over chocolate any day.

Thank you so so much Wulf, it was a blast swapping with you, as always.

x

So glad you liked the books, Edel. I was worried that you might already have the stamping one, although there's little enough cross-over between European and American publishing that I thought you might not. The sewing one is British, but it seemed odd enough that I was willing to bet you hadn't seen it.

I'm pleased with the way the lanterns turned out, and I think I learned a lot from it. Every year I go to a Pagan festival in October, and I make an impromptu lantern to carry in the ceremonial procession of the Corn King. Most of the time they're hollowed-out gourds, but some have been made of rags and sticks. Every year the organizers ask me when I'm going to give a workshop on lantern-making so everyone can have one. I've resisted so far because I haven't worked out a method that would ensure that everyone could make a good lantern in only an hour or two. Making these has given me a few more ideas that could mean that this is the year I do a lantern workshop.

I love the Barbiedoll Maypole! Please, please, please, give us a photo of the Barbies dancing around it with ribbons in their hands! And those crowns are some of the best ever. So perfect for your little ones!
