Where is my Cosmo?

Here's something I made for TheMistressT, a fellow Halloween lover, in the Be Awesome Swap. It's an October calendar that she can use every year. The calendar consists 31 ATCs, bound together with a Bind It All, and mounted on a collapsible cardboard frame. I also included a little costumed rat, to keep her company.

The back cover folds up to create a triangular stand for the pages. Each day in October, she can flip one over as Halloween approaches. I used playing cards for the bases of the ATCs. They're just the right size, and it's easy to quickly cover them with scrapbook paper and then cut them out. I didn't cover the backs because I don't mind the way they look, and the cards would be way too fat with all that extra paper involved.

Here's one of my favorite pages:

TheMistressT also posted a few pictures of the pages here.

And here are all the cards, pre-binding:

Happy (early) Halloween!

So much fun!  I would want to be counting down all year long though.  Do you think you can do one for me with a deck of 365 cards?  Smiley

You guys. Seriously. It's just SO AWESOME!  As I mentioned to Racky and in the gallery, every time I flip through, I find new favorites!  Each one is so great and as a group they cover so much of what is wonderful about the most wonderful time of the year: Halloween!

I love that the backs of the cards are uncovered and give a hint to the former life or lives of MY countdown (MINE!).

So much fun!  I would want to be counting down all year long though.  Do you think you can do one for me with a deck of 365 cards?  Smiley

I have had the pleasure of experiencing quite a few Octobers already this March!  Roll Eyes  I need to put it away soon so I can fully appreciate the thrill of rediscovering it when I unpack my Hallween decorations next year.  WOO!  I mean, BOO!

What a great idea - I always have trouble thinking of ways to display things like ATC or tags. And the pages are fantastic!  Love the idea of an individual art piece for each day. I may have to borrow this idea!

It's not that I don't want to swap, it's that I often don't have time.  But feel free to ask (especially if it's one that's not too time consuming).
